Seems like most men and women are constantly talking about pre-flop system, so I wanted to speak a little bit about how I play following the flop. Perhaps I can aid others, or maybe they have advice to enhance my play.
I think that two of the most crucial plays following the flop are the semi-bluff and the defensive wager. That is because these are the plays you generate if you havent hit a hand but you’ve got a good drawing hand. Its easy to bet on a hand if you flop a monster. Except I feel that these two are the very best methods to wager on a drawing. Each one is wagered depending on you challenger(s) and your postion. So here’s how I bet on it, so tell me what you think.
Early Location – Tight Opponents:
A semi-bluff works fairly properly in this position. Are available out betting and if a tight player didn’t hit a hand he’ll most likely lay down, and if he is unsure you may perhaps acquire a call. But watch out, if that tight gambler comes back more than the best it may be time to get away.
Early Placement – Loose Competitors
This can be were I like to accomplish a defensive wager. Choose how numerous chips you’re willing to chance on your draw and wager. This can be usually a much smaller bet than normal. It’s been my understanding that the loose gambler will usually just call a bet instead of re-raise. Late Location – Tight Competitors

Late Location – Loose Opponents
This one is a bit complicated, because it’s more difficult to put a loose player on a hand. And if your in late place against loose gambler, chances are they’ve already bet. That is were I usually come to a decision to take a chance and are available back more than the top of them and pray they do not call, and if they do, effectively then its time to gamble. Odds are although even a loose player will go away if you arrive back strong enough.
Remember though that these are moves I only make after the flop comes and I have a reasonable drawing hand (usually not a gutshot either). Maybe four to the flush or the open ended straight, for instance.
